Pami has chosen to partner with LOGICDATA for the sit-stand technology used in its desks. With this decision, Pami is deliberately strengthening its European value chain. Headquartered in Austria, LOGICDATA manufactures for the European market in Hungary and brings almost 30 years of experience in mechatronic solutions. The partnership combines European expertise with ergonomics, energy efficiency, flexibility and a strong focus on design.
As Belgium’s market leader in office interiors and the country’s largest independent office furniture manufacturer, Pami deliberately chooses partners whose approach aligns with its own. Pami develops and manufactures its office furniture in Pelt, combining this vertical integration with specialised partnerships and technology.
“LOGICDATA’s European base was an important factor in our decision,” says Bart Driessen, CCO of Pami. “We strongly believe in European manufacturing and expertise. Not only from a sustainability perspective, but also because proximity enables us to respond more quickly, keep our supply chain resilient and adapt flexibly to the needs of customers, architects and individual projects.”
European expertise as a deliberate choice
LOGICDATA has been developing mechatronic solutions and drive systems for applications including height-adjustable desks for almost 30 years. From its headquarters in Austria, the company has built extensive expertise in motors, actuators and control systems. European production for this partnership takes place in Hungary.
Manufacturing close to the market shortens supply lines, reduces dependence on long, global supply chains and minimises transport distances.
Unique textured powder coating turns technology into design
The partnership also delivers an important aesthetic advantage. The three columns of the sit-stand base are finished entirely in textured paint, giving the base a high-quality and uniform appearance.
The textured finish is available in a range of colours, allowing architects, interior designers and clients to harmoniously coordinate the base with the worktop, other office furniture and the overall interior design concept. This means that ergonomics need not come at the expense of aesthetics.
Speed and flexibility in a changing market
Office projects are increasingly requiring bespoke solutions in terms of colours, materials and configurations. Local production and bespoke manufacturing in Pelt, combined with specialised European technology and production, make it possible to keep lines of communication short and respond quickly to the specific needs of clients and projects.
“Pami creates high-quality office concepts with the user at the heart of the design. That aligns perfectly with what LOGICDATA has stood for from the very beginning,” says Mario Neuhold, Director Sales at LOGICDATA. “We are proud to support Pami with technology manufactured in Europe and a partnership that customers can rely on.”
Energy-efficient technology for an ergonomic workplace
Ultimately, a sit-stand desk is all about the user. Pami’s own sit-stand desks are designed in accordance with European standards for ergonomic workstations and encourage a mix of sitting and standing whilst working.
Within the new partnership, this ergonomic approach is combined with energy-efficient motors, smooth height adjustment and robust technology designed for years of daily use.
“We are constantly looking for ways to bring ergonomics, design and sustainability closer together,” says Bart Driessen. “With LOGICDATA, we have found a partner that combines technological expertise with the flexibility and design freedom we want to offer our customers. The unique textured powder coating on all three columns is a great example: a technical detail that also makes a clear aesthetic difference. A sit-stand desk should not only work well, it should look good in every position.”
Building the European workplace of tomorrow together
Through this partnership, Pami combines Belgian design and local manufacturing with specialist European technology and production. In this way, Pami and LOGICDATA are continuing to work together to create ergonomic workstations in which European expertise, design, flexibility and energy efficiency reinforce one another.
