Pami certifications and independent assessments
At Pami, quality, sustainability and responsible business practices are not just stand-alone claims. Our certifications and independent assessments provide clear evidence of this. Below, you will find an overview of our most important certificates and what they mean in practice.
European sustainability assessment for office furniture
FEMB Level 3
FEMB Level 3 is the highest level within the European Level certification for office furniture. The assessment looks not only at the end product, but also at the production environment and the organisation behind the product.
For Pami, Level 3 confirms that sustainability, quality and circularity are structurally embedded in the way we work. The certification also aligns with Green Public Procurement criteria and circular economy principles.
For you, this means:
an objective European framework that provides stronger support for sustainable choices in tenders and projects.
International standard for quality management
ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. It requires organisations to describe, analyse, measure and continuously improve their processes.
Pami uses ISO 9001 not only as a certificate, but also as a management tool to strengthen the quality of every aspect of the organisation — from sales and production to delivery and after-sales service.
For you, this means:
reliable processes and a partner that is continuously working to improve quality.
International standard for environmental management
ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management. The certification confirms that environmental impact is managed structurally and continuously improved.
Pami obtained ISO 14001 certification as early as 2003, becoming the first company in the sector in Belgium to do so. This means environmental care has been embedded in our operations for many years.
For you, this means:
a partner that does not approach environmental performance on an ad hoc basis, but manages and monitors it in a structured way.
External certification for corporate social responsibility
CSR Performance Ladder
The CSR Performance Ladder (MVO Prestatieladder) is an external certification based on international standards such as ISO 26000. It assesses organisations on themes such as people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnerships.
Pami has been certified to the CSR Performance Ladder – Level 3 since 2013. The certification was recently renewed following a thorough external audit.
For you, this means:
the assurance that you are working with a partner that conducts business responsibly, reports transparently and is committed to continuous improvement.
International sustainability assessment of companies
EcoVadis Silver
EcoVadis is an internationally recognised platform that assesses companies on their sustainability performance. The assessment covers four themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Pami achieved an EcoVadis Silver Rating. This places Pami among the top 15% of companies assessed by EcoVadis.
For you, this means:
an independent assessment of how Pami performs on relevant sustainability themes across the entire business.
Certification for sustainable and traceable wood
PEFC
PEFC guarantees that wood comes from responsibly managed, sustainable sources. Thanks to PEFC Chain of Custody-certified timber flows, the origin of the wood used can be demonstrably traced throughout the supply chain.
Pami has been PEFC-certified since 2011. Independent organisations verify compliance with these procedures, ensuring a transparent and reliable process.
For you, this means:
greater certainty about the origin of the wood used in your workplace design.
Broader sustainability commitment
International initiative for sustainable and responsible business
UN Global Compact
Pami has joined the UN Global Compact, the United Nations’ global initiative for sustainability and responsible business conduct. By doing so, Pami commits itself to ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
